Hello, I'm new to the comm! ^ ^
I'd like to claim the following:
Nyarth or Nyasu + Koijirou (Nyajirou shipping) - - for English watchers of the Pokemon anime, I guess it would be Jeowth (?)
Nyarth or Nyasu + Musashi (Nyashi shipping)- - for English, I guess it would be Messie (?)
I hope I did this right...

LOL Ships involving Team Rocket other than Rocketshipping!

LOL I know! I always viewed the Nyarth x Koijiro (James x Meowth) shipping like friendship instead of romantic, but yeah! And I know there's no evidence to support Musashi x Nyarth (Jessie x Meowth) but oh well! I wish we got more development on their relationship, anyhow.

Yes, me too. And I did always figure Meowth was closer to James than he was to Jessie, but they have their moments where they side together. For instance, the contests they enter, while James cheers for them. They are more of the competitve members of the team. And the fact that Jessie's team leader kind of makes Meowth co-leader because they both come up with all the schemes. Anyways, I wish they had more Jessie x Meowth centered episodes. The James x Meowth centered episodes outnumber them and so we don't get to see a lot of the developing friendship between the two, as they seemingly only get along when James is around.

Agreed, yarr :D

Actually... James x Meowth is Blueshipping while Jessie x Meowth is Hissshipping.
Regardless, both claims are added.

Orly? Cuz' that's what we call it in Japan (Nyajirou shipping, I mean). I made up the Nyashi paring thing, but I don't recall there being a name for Musashi x Nyarth in Japan.
Blueshipping? Really? For James x Meowth? I thought that was Kaiba x Kisara from Yu-Gi-Oh! But oh well, these ship names never made sense to me. LOL
Why do they call it Blueshipping? I looked it up on Bulbapedia, but there's no source to the name. And HissShipping? Where did that come from? Thanks for adding me anyway!

Ya rly. Japan name-smushes i.e. SatoHaru or Satruka, America/UK/every other English speaking country use the -shipping format i.e Advanceshipping. Always has been the way, always will be. Don't give me the O RLY comment because that really was uncalled for. It came across as sarcastic when all I'm doing is telling you a couple of names.
Multiple fandoms can share the same name for a shipping; there's nothing really against it. Guardianshipping is used in seven different fandoms... including Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. As for why both shippings are called such? Sadly, I don't know. I know a lot of name origins but never those two.

Oh, I'm sorry it came off as sarcastic, but I honestly wasn't being sarcastic! I was just abbreviating the ''Oh, really?'' phrase, but in a questioning way, like in the ''Oh, really? I didn't know that but that's interesting'' sort of way. Not the smart alec way. I'm really sorry if you interrpreted it like that! ^ ^
Thank you for giving me the proper names, btw. I actually never heard of them, as I'm used to the Japanese ship names, so thank you for the corrections!
Yes, and I suppose multiple fandoms do! Blueshipping makes a lot more sense to me for Kaiba x Kasara, though, because they both have blue eyes and are connected to the Blue Eyes White Dragon. I guess I can kid of see where it comes from for James x Meowth... hence, Meowth has blue eyes, and James' hair, though purple- violet to be exact- is technically a shade of blue and red mixed together, so... it's interesting how fandoms create these names, isn't it?

James x Meowth is sometimes occasionally referred to as PussyShipping, but the term is not very known because it's so seldom used. It's actually, like, grandfather time.

True dat, like how Ash x Misty also has the name Twerpshipping. 8)
